Cruising in the Caribbean

The Bahamas is a favorite Caribbean destination and getting there is fairly easy as flights to the islands are available daily. Sailing is another option for the more adventurous type. Going to Bermuda is much the same way although a lot more people enjoy yachting and going from port to port in each island.

In the Dominican Republic, flying is the better option since out of all the islands in the Caribbean this one has the most number of airports.

In St. Lucia, sailing or going on a cruise could be more enjoyable since it has a lot of ports you might want to visit. And because the island is surrounded by many entry points, you can be assured that getting in and out of the island is not going to be a problem.

If you do plan to visit the Caribbean, then your accommodations should be taken into account, too. Hotels in these parts vary and depending on the time of your vacation; prices could either go up or down.

Aruba hotels are some of the best to be found in the Caribbean since prices are competitive and service is excellent. Bermuda Hotels, on the other hand, are pretty expensive. This reflects the higher cost of living in the island as compared to that of other neighboring islands.

Jamaica Hotels range from extremely expensive to really affordable, again depending on your choice. But Jamaica has the widest selection of hotels so you won't have a hard time looking for one that fits your budget.

Weather, of course, is not going to be a problem when you're planning your vacation because there is hardly any time at all that it rains incessantly in the Caribbean.

Caribbean Weather is pretty much the same the whole year round; with a few rains in most islands within the year. Bahamas Weather is perfect because it is not too hot nor is it too cold. However, Puerto Rico Weather boasts the most rain so you have to make sure to time your vacation during the islands' sunniest.
